I identified a few problems from the original version that my team submitted for the 2022 Global Game Jam.

Inaccessible   

Detached

The clunky and fixed UX and UI does not consider the 8-12 aged audience and the different skill level, strengths, and impediments they may have.

The UX and UI do not align with the game’s intended message of collaboration. The game can only be played solo and the UI’s visuals are not aligned with the aesthetics of the fantasy pixelated artwork.

The percentage of girls who are unsatisfied with their appearance nearly doubles between the ages of 11 and 14. Beauty propaganda on social media targeted at female consumers often creates a false ideal that can lead to low self-esteem
